Dental Emergency in Barcelona: Immediate Care Without Waiting | Corona Dental

When dental pain appears suddenly, every minute counts. At Corona Dental, our philosophy is clear: pain does not understand schedules or calendars. With over 20 years of experience caring for oral health in Barcelona, we are your reference clinic in Sants-Montjuïc, located at c/Entença, 69 (08015 Barcelona), just steps from Rocafort L1 metro. We are distinguished by our uninterrupted service from 10am to 7pm, 365 days a year, including all weekends and public holidays. You do not need an appointment; we are ready to receive you as soon as the problem occurs.

How to know if your case requires a dental emergency?

Many people are unsure whether their discomfort is serious enough to visit an emergency dentist. Symptoms are usually the first warning of a major pathology requiring immediate professional intervention. If you experience intense pain that does not go away, facial or gum swelling, fever, or a persistent bad taste in your mouth, do not ignore these signs. Other clear indicators are bad breath (severe halitosis due to infection) or difficulty opening your mouth or chewing properly.

In our practice, we perform an immediate clinical assessment to diagnose specific pathologies such as pulpitis, periapical abscesses, severe periapical infections or pericoronitis. Rapid intervention is the difference between treating a simple problem or facing irreversible damage to the tooth structure.

Cutting-edge technology and expert team

Diagnostic precision is the foundation of our effectiveness. We have a multidisciplinary team of experienced dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants prepared to act under pressure. In addition to our clinical experience, we have a high-level technological infrastructure. We use digital radiography and periapical radiography to locate the source of the problem in seconds.

For complex cases, such as deep infections or emergency root canals, we have low-dose dental CT, allowing us to visualise bone and roots in 3D. We also incorporate a state-of-the-art endodontic microscope to treat root canals with millimetric precision. This allows us to perform emergency treatments with definitive results, from a temporary filling to relieve pain to a high-quality permanent filling.

Care protocol: From emergency to relief

Our commitment is to resolve your situation from the moment you walk through the door. We apply strict medical protocols, including immediate suturing in case of post-extraction bleeding or repair of fractured teeth. If you have suffered a blow, remember to keep the tooth in cold milk or saline solution. Do not self-medicate and avoid applying heat to the area, as this usually accelerates infectious processes.

What our patients highlight about us

Trust is our greatest guarantee. We have a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars, based on hundreds of real reviews that endorse our responsiveness. "They saw me in less than 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon when no one else was open. Excellent professionalism," comments one of our patients. This is the essence of Corona Dental: being there when other clinics are closed.

Critical emergency. Keep the tooth in cold whole milk (not water). Do not clean it. Call us on your way to the clinic. The window for replantation with a good chance of success is a maximum of 2 hours.
